Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and scope
Milega Naukri (“Milega”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is owned and operated by Marcos Global Online Services Private Limited, CIN U93090MH2019PTC333740, with its office at Plot No. 39/B, Flat No. 1, Ground Floor, Near Sai Darshan Building, Sindhi Society, Chembur, Mumbai, Maharashtra – 400071, India. This Policy applies to personal data handled through www.mileganaukri.com and associated Milega services for Candidates, Employers and Recruiters. Contact: info@mileganaukri.com.
It explains what we collect, why, how we share and retain it, and the choices available to you. It is separate from our Terms of Use. Acknowledging this Policy does not constitute consent to optional marketing or every possible data use. We obtain consent where required through relevant notices and controls.
We process personal data under applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules as and when the relevant provisions come into force. Some statutory rights and mechanisms have phased commencement; this Policy does not represent that all are already operational.
2. Information collected from all users
- Account information: name, email address, account type and mobile number when provided. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to email rather than a password.
- Usage and device information: pages visited, actions, timestamps, last activity, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, device and browser information, and logs needed for service operation, security and troubleshooting.
- Support information: questions, messages and feedback sent to our help chatbot or support team, together with information you include in them.
- Cookies and similar technologies: essential sign-in and security technologies, and optional analytics or advertising measurement technologies where enabled, including Firebase Analytics and Meta Pixel. The choices available are explained in section 9.
3. Candidate information and visibility
Candidates may provide date of birth, gender, location, languages, education, work experience, skills, preferred jobs, expected salary, notice period, résumé, optional LinkedIn link and WhatsApp number. Provide only information relevant to recruitment; do not include bank credentials or unnecessary identity documents in a résumé.
When your profile is complete and visible, Employers may discover your recruitment profile in candidate search. Your phone number, WhatsApp number, email and résumé are made available to an Employer when it unlocks your profile or when you apply to its job. Search visibility does not make your contact information openly available to all website visitors.
When you apply, the relevant Employer receives your application profile and résumé. If the Employer accepts your application through the platform, you can access the Employer contact details provided for that purpose. Where enabled, you and the Employer may rate the interaction after acceptance. An acceptance is not itself an employment offer.
An Employer may share relevant information with an independent Recruiter for its recruitment assignment only within the Candidate permissions provided through Milega. We explain this sharing and provide a permission mechanism before enabling it. Contact details are shared only where necessary and permitted for the assignment. Recruiters are required to safeguard information and use it only within that scope.
You may hide your profile from future employer search. This does not withdraw existing applications or retrieve copies already lawfully received. Employers and Recruiters remain responsible for their subsequent use, retention and legal obligations. Contact us if you suspect misuse.
4. Employer information and identity checks
Employers provide business name, type, industry, size, address, representative contact information and, where relevant, GSTIN and billing details. Job listings are visible on Milega and searchable by Candidates; information included in a public listing may be viewed and copied by others.
Identity checks may be offered through DigiLocker and Surepass or through manual PAN verification. Depending on the selected process, verification information may include the representative’s name, PAN or masked Aadhaar information such as its last four digits, together with verification status. We explain the actual fields requested and their purpose at the verification step and obtain consent where required.
We do not ask you to send a full Aadhaar copy through an ordinary upload field. Use only the designated verification process. We restrict access to verification information and retain only what is necessary for the stated purpose and applicable law. Verification records are not made available to Candidates or other users merely because an Employer is listed. A badge reflects specified checks rather than a guarantee of a business or vacancy.
5. Recruiter information
Recruiters may provide headline, experience, skills, industries, languages, location, biography, contact information, CV, portfolio files and website. While membership is active and visibility is enabled, Employers can discover the profile. Phone number, email, CV and portfolio made available through the service are disclosed to an Employer after an authorised unlock.
Recruiters may hide their profile from future discovery. Previously disclosed information cannot automatically be recalled. Employers may share Candidate information for an authorised recruitment assignment as described above. Recruiters must use it only for that assignment, safeguard it and avoid unrelated contact, marketing or database use.
6. How we use information
- Create and operate accounts; display profiles and jobs according to settings; process applications, unlocks, ratings and authorised recruitment sharing.
- Suggest jobs and rank candidates using automated tools, including AI. These tools assist ordering and recommendations; Employers make their own hiring decisions.
- Verify accounts, detect fraud, moderate content, protect security and investigate misuse. Automated and AI-assisted checks may be used alongside human review.
- Process purchases, manage authorised renewals, issue GST invoices and maintain financial records.
- Send sign-in codes, payment and account notices, application alerts by email or WhatsApp, and relevant service reminders. Promotional communications are managed separately as described below.
- Provide support and AI chatbot responses, understand service performance, improve features and measure advertising subject to the applicable choices.
- Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, resolve disputes and protect legal rights.
Where consent is required, we request it for the relevant purpose. Where another lawful permission applies, we process only within that permission. If you decline information necessary for a particular feature, we may be unable to provide that feature. Optional marketing choices do not determine access to unrelated core features.
7. Payments
Razorpay processes payments. We receive transaction references, amounts, payment status and limited payment information necessary for billing, reconciliation and support. We do not store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or payment authentication credentials. Purchase, invoice and tax records may include your name, business details, GSTIN and billing address. Razorpay’s own privacy terms also apply to its processing.
10. Retention and deletion
We keep information while an account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described. Retention varies by category: profile and application data support recruitment; verification data supports checks and fraud prevention; support and security records support dispute handling and safety; invoices and payment records are retained for applicable tax and accounting requirements.
When you request deletion, we verify the request proportionately and delete or anonymise information no longer needed. We may retain limited records for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security or legal claims, with restricted access. Copies in backups are removed through the normal backup cycle and are not restored to routine use except where necessary for recovery, after which deletion restrictions are reapplied.
We explain material legal retention exceptions when responding to your request. Information already received by an Employer or Recruiter is also subject to that recipient’s responsibilities; deleting a Milega account does not automatically delete their independent records. Contact us to report misuse or seek assistance.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and risk, including protected transmission, restricted staff access and controls on stored files and identity information. Access is limited to authorised personnel and providers for their duties. No system is completely secure. Protect your email and sign-in codes, and report suspected unauthorised access promptly. Where required, we notify affected users and authorities of a personal-data breach in accordance with applicable law.
12. Choices, rights and complaints
You can view and update much of your information through your profile and use the available visibility controls. Write to info@mileganaukri.com to request access to your information, correction, account deletion, consent withdrawal or help with your preferences. We may verify identity using proportionate measures before acting.
Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed and may prevent features that depend on the information. We stop consent-based processing within the applicable legal timeframe, subject to lawful retention. We offer the account controls described here; additional statutory rights, including nomination in case of death or incapacity, apply when and to the extent the relevant legal provisions are in force.
Users must be at least 18. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children. If you believe a child has supplied information, contact us so that we can investigate, restrict the account and take appropriate deletion or other legally required action.

We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days, subject to any shorter or otherwise applicable statutory deadline. Where available, you may escalate an unresolved matter to the appropriate statutory authority. For DPDP matters, this includes the Data Protection Board of India when the relevant provisions and complaint mechanism apply, after completing any applicable grievance process.
14. Updates
We may update this Policy and will display the new effective date. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app where appropriate. Where a new processing purpose requires consent, we obtain that consent before using information for that purpose. Continued use alone is not treated as consent to a new purpose requiring fresh consent.
